My boyfriend has made it perfectly clear, that I'm NOT getting a baby penguin (even though I really, really want one! >.<), my second option would probably be a baby kitten. Can't we all just sit around and Google/YouTube baby animals for all eternity? 
Aaaaaaw! I want one SO bad! Every time I hear someone talking about their having of kittens I get so super-jealous. We wanted to get a cat last year, but it never seems to be a good time. And of course you shouldn't do it if you know that "bad times" will come up, because it's not like getting a plant that you can just throw out.
