Recipe: Apple Pie

So, yesterday I made apple pie, and I thought I'd share the recipe with you. This is very simple, fast and delicious to make, and who doesn't appreciate freshly baked apple pie? ^_^

This is what you'll need:
3 Apples (maybe less if they're bigger apples)
3 tbsp sugar
cinnamon (optional)
100 g + 1 tbsp butter
1 dl oat flakes
1½ dl flour
Custard (and lots of it!)

Start by buttering up a pie form. After that you'll chop up the apples in thin slices, without the core of course. Put the apples in the form as shown in the first picture. Sprinkle the apples with 2 tablespoons of sugar and lots of cinnamon.
Now it's time to make the dough. Mix together butter, flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar and oat flakes in a bowl. The texture should be kind of "crumby" if it's too sticky, add some more flour. When all the ingredients are nicely mixed together, and the dough has gotten the right texture, sprinkle it evenly over the apples. Put in the oven at 225°C for 20 minutes, done!

(In case you're interested, one slice of pie is 263 calories, given that you cut the pie into 8 pieces. One serving (70g) of full-fat custard is 134 calories, 70 g custard is a little less than one deciliter.)
